AOD9604

Overview

AOD9604 is based on the C-terminal end of human growth hormone, the part associated with its effects on fat metabolism. It was developed to separate those effects from growth hormone's influence on growth and blood sugar.

In animal studies it increased fat breakdown without raising IGF-1. Human trials for obesity did not show significant weight loss, and research has since also looked at cartilage and joint repair.
