Overview
Glutathione is found in high amounts in almost all cells. It neutralises reactive oxygen species, regenerates other antioxidants such as vitamins C and E, and helps the liver process toxins.
The balance between its reduced and oxidised forms is a standard measure of oxidative stress in research.
