Overview

Sermorelin is the shortest fragment of growth-hormone-releasing hormone that keeps full biological activity. It acts on the pituitary to trigger the body's own growth-hormone release.

It was one of the first GHRH analogues used clinically and is the unmodified parent of later, more stable versions such as CJC-1295. Its short half-life gives a natural, pulse-like response.
