Overview
SLU-PP-332 activates estrogen-related receptors (ERRα, β and γ), proteins that switch on genes for energy production in muscle and other tissues. Despite the name, these receptors do not respond to estrogen.
In mice it increased endurance and fat burning and pushed muscle towards an oxidative, exercise-like profile. Research is at the preclinical stage.
