Overview
Tesamorelin is the full 44-amino-acid sequence of growth-hormone-releasing hormone with a small chemical group added at one end, which protects it from rapid breakdown.
It stimulates the pituitary's own growth-hormone release. It has been studied extensively in clinical trials on abdominal (visceral) fat and is an approved medicine in some countries for a specific form of fat accumulation.
