Overview
Thymosin alpha-1 was first isolated from the thymus, the organ where T cells mature. It helps T cells develop and enhances the immune system's ability to recognise infected or abnormal cells.
It is one of the most clinically studied immune peptides and is approved in several countries for chronic hepatitis and as an immune support alongside vaccines.
